Born and raised in Townsville, Dion attended Kirwan State High School before completing his Senior Years at Tec-NQ, graduating in 2010. Shortly after, he began his Certificate III in Carpentry, apprenticing under Geoff Longwood Constructions and Doble Homes’ Scott Lawton. Dion completed his apprenticeship in 2014 and soon started subcontracting with Doble Homes. With over 14 years of experience in the industry, Dion specializes in both new builds and renovations. In September 2024, he joined the Doble Homes’ ‘Master Chippy Team’ full-time, working alongside his apprentice, Kai Saunders.

Outside of work, Dion is passionate about water sports, particularly fishing and waterskiing, and enjoys camping and weekend getaways.
